Finance Secretary Rewards SEA Students
Two students who wrote the Secondary Entrance Assessment in May were rewarded for their academic success by the Secretary of Finance and Enterprise Development, Mr. Joel Jack. Chelsea Marie Darlington and Shania Berkeley each received gift vouchers on behalf of the Division of Finance and Enterprise Development. Secretary Jack indicated the incentive was part of a strategic effort by the Division of Finance and Enterprise Development to encourage the extended members of the Division’s family to strive for excellence. Both beneficiaries are children of employees of the Division of Finance and Enterprise Development working in the Accounts Department and Board of Inland Revenue Services. The vouchers were valued at $1,000.00 for books, school and stationary supplies along with $500 in Units from the Unit Trust Corporation. The presentation provided the three options for the recipients to study, save and shop.
