2020 Finance Month Thanksgiving Service

Perseverance…Faithfulness…Resilience, was a timely and relevant theme for the Division of Finance and the Economy’s 18th Annual Thanksgiving Service.

Deputy Chief Secretary and Secretary of Finance and the Economy, Assemblyman Joel Jack, reminded the Team that while the global health crisis has had immeasurable impacts on the lives and livelihoods of many individuals and countries around the world; this pandemic presents a teachable moment for us to practice strategies of endurance that are unique to Tobago.

Secretary Jack added that, perseverance, faithfulness and resilience are some of the critical qualities that we possess that will help us successfully navigate these difficult times and surmount some of the challenges confronting us.

Secretary Jack commended members of the Team for their commitment, professionalism, tenacity and ability to go beyond the call of duty, even in onerous circumstances. Members of the Finance Family who are no longer here with us, were also recognized by Secretary Jack, they are:

*Marva Williams-Gordon

*Juliet Mitchell-Dumas

*Nicole Balfour

We at the Division continue to keep them in our memories and our hearts and pray for continued strength for their loved ones.
